Quick Start Guide

Follow this guide to get your workspace set up and onboard your team in less than 5 minutes.

• Create your Workspace: Sign up at /auth/signup. You can initialize a new company workspace, select your domain, and configure your primary workspace URL.
• Invite your Team: Navigate to Settings > Administration > Members. Invite teammates by email and assign them roles (Owner, Admin, or Member).
• Create your first Cycle: Cycles help you maintain product momentum. Unfinished issues from the previous cycle automatically carry over to the next.

Supported Devices

Thesis works on phones, tablets, and desktops. The workspace (issues, inbox, agent, settings, and onboarding) adapts to smaller screens with an overlay sidebar and compact lists.

• Phones: Overlay navigation, stacked layouts, and compact issue lists.
• Tablets: The same workspace with a narrower sidebar.
• Laptops and desktops: Full side-by-side layout.

Cycles & Momentum

Cycles are time-boxed sprints (usually 1 or 2 weeks) that focus your engineering team on specific goals. Unlike standard project management tools, Thesis automates cycle management. At midnight on the cycle end date:

• All Completed issues are archived into the completed cycle.
• All Unfinished issues are automatically moved to the active backlog of the new cycle.
• A cycle summary report is compiled by the AI Agent and posted to your linked Slack channel.

Autonomous AI Agents

The Thesis Agent is an autonomous system built to manage project overhead, leaving your team free to write code.

• PRD Drafting: Provide a 1-sentence prompt, and the agent writes a complete product specification with linked tasks.
• Auto-Triage: Reads bug reports, links them to previous issues, and prioritizes backlog tickets.
• Cycle Summaries: Compiles a weekly markdown update summarizing team achievements.

Integrations Setup

Thesis integrates natively with the tools you already use to bring context directly into your workspace.

• Google Drive: Link files and resources directly inside issue descriptions.
• GitHub: Link pull requests to automatically close issues when merged.
• Notion: Embed documents and project scopes natively.
• Google Calendar & Microsoft Teams: Keep meetings, calendar invites, and team updates in context.
